Album: Spring and Summer 2020: A Sheltered Existence
On March 16, 2020, Contra Costa County followed the rest of the Bay Area by issuing a shelter-in-place order, limiting activity, travel, and business functions to the most essential needs.
Although lockdown restrictions relaxed somewhat over the months, this album documents how we spent our time, staying close to home, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grace came to us 2 weeks into shelter-in-place. We had been applying to rescue organizations for months to adopt a friendly garden cat. By "grace," she was placed with us just when we needed a little light in our lockdown.

Album: Tyrian's Great Canadian Escape
After 8 months of muscling through school in quarantine on his own in Vancouver, Tyrian decided to come home at the end of October.
A closed border meant Matt had to fly to Washington and meet Tyrian on the US side once he managed to get all his belongings across. Mind you, Tyrian had packed for a 2-year stay in Canada...
